With 42% share of Democratic candi-date discussion, the Dean campaign clearly trounced its rivals in the media in most of the key primary states in the pre-Labor day time frame. With the exception of South Carolina, where Senator John Edwards clearly had an advantage, Dean dominated both print and broadcast coverage consistently.
