Clifford Chance was highly successful this period in terms of positioning itself as a global leader. However, Skadden, Arps garnered the largest share of exposure this half as a result of its win in the Merrill Lynch case. While the firm received widespread coveragem for its success, it was significantly less successful in communicating its messages. Fresh-fields continues to be the least visible of the competing firms.
