What’s the difference between impressions, opportunities to see, and readership?

Essentially, very little. They should all be based on the audited circulation figures of the publications or mediums in which your articles appeared. See "Guidelines for Measuring PR Effectiveness," published by the Institute for PR’s Commission on Research and Evaluation for specifics.
